Annual closure of JSBJJ Training Centre during the Christmas Holiday and new year.

Here following the temporary timetable for the holidays:

21st of December only classes will be at 12.15pm FUNDAMENTAL and 6pm till 8pm OPEN MAT (no morning 7am open mat)

24-25-26-27 CLOSED

28th of December only open mat at 6pm till 8pm.

29th of December: 10am KIDS CLASS, 11am INTRO CLASS, 12pm OPEN MAT

31st of December CLOSED

1st of January CLOSED

Class will return to normal 2nd of January 2019.

Member Portal

As per October 1st we will be officially transition to the new Member Portal, where every single gym member will be required to be registered, if you have not do so yet please do it at the following link:


The new portal will allow you to check your membership, the validity, classes included, renewal date and update all your info, please include also a picture of you :)

Now there are mainly 3 options to keep paying your membership, cheapest is via Direct Debit, or you can opt for non recurring option via bank transfer or lastly in cash at the reception; please note that we will not able to take anymore card payment.

For those of you that are already on standing order payment, please proceed on cancelling your standing order and than at the reception we will set up the new direct debit at the same price with no sing up fees.

As many of you already know this upcoming weekend will be a busy one for JSBJJ members!


Starting this Saturday with a big number taking part at the Irish Open event in Dublin, club will be closed for the day, for any pf you not competing please drop-in the venue to show some support for the team! Info on venue and schedule at the following link: 



Following the next day Sunday 13th graduation will take place in the club starting at 10am, all JSBJJ members and affiliates must be present on the day! More info at the following link



Weekends are always busy busy! This past one, we have seen team members again travelling the country, this time to Belfast and doing a great job there!

Congratulation to Monica Convertino, which secure a gold medal in her division at the Norther Ireland No-Gi Championship; a really well organised event with equal prize money both for female and male competitors! Probably the very first time happening in Ireland, big shout out to the organizer Leah McCourt for putting up a great event and making a forward step in the BJJ history.  Thank you!

Sunday was that times for our little ones to step up on the mat and compete! A small team of four champions proudly represented our club at the National Children League. Congratulation to Luca Bob, Rayen and Brahim Tayahi and Kacper Pigula; always presents in all tournaments!

Our affiliation overseas also are doing great and representing the name very well, especially the guys at WARRIORS GYM - HUNGARY.

They took part in the MMA&GRAPPLING Championship and taking home two golds medals,  MMA: Attila Pataki

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS! We, at JSBJJ HQ, are really proud of you!



This past weekend the club have been busy well representing in and out Ireland the team.

Amazing result for the small team that took the tip to Letterkenny with our coach Damien Dowling.

We got serious results, with Alexandre Pereira taking home gold in WHITE/ADULT/-70kg and a well deserved second place in the absolute ; 9 fights 8 submissions. A real beast!

Vincent Doherty also great performance makings sure to get gold at PURPLE/ADULT/-70kg and third place at the purple absolute.

Graham Brodigan from our affiliation Vibe Jiu Jitsu secure a second place in his division.


Criss Dune, also from Vibe jiu jitsu academy, managed to take home the silver medal.

Congratulation also to Ibrahim Khalili representing master blue belt.

Professor Jorge Santos had, instead represented with Laura, the team oversees!

Double gold for each of them, securing also the absolute prize!
